Roof Notice 7/15

Work is expected to begin on Building #4 (659-695 Hibiscus St) Monday, 7/19. All units that utilize this driveway should anticipate delays due to work vehicles. Those units are asked to plan for temporary inconveniences. As was found in the construction of the other buildings, the delays may be significant, and residents may want to park off-site during construction. Construction vehicles have been and will continue to be parked in the driveway overnight, and attempts will be made to minimize obstruction of garage entrances as much as possible. The first stage is the tear-off of the existing. Please see Reroof Notice #1 for information on the different stages.

The Peel-and-Stick has been completed for Building #3 (678-698 Fern St). Tile installation may begin as early as next week.

Tear off is in progress for Building #1 (606-638 Fern St) and the tin tag has been substantially completed for Building #2 (640-674 Fern St). The tin tag for Building #1 will likely be complete this week. The Peel-and-Stick will likely be installed this week for Building #2. Peel-and-Stick will likely be done for Building #1 next week.

Installation of tile for Building #3 will likely begin next week.

An issue was found with one unit that has prompted the building department to require an engineer’s inspection of the attic of all units prior to closing each unit’s permit. This service is currently being procured. Access to each unit’s attic will be needed and a notice will be sent to begin scheduling these inspections as soon as a contract with an engineer is executed.
